At Fixed Fire Protection, our professionally trained technicians certify and service fire extinguishers to keep your business in compliance with state and local fire code ordinances.

We provide all the needed services from the basic annual inspection to the six year maintenance and the twelve year hydrostatic test along with all necessary certifications. We service all types of fire extinguishers. ABC, BC, Water, Class K, Water Mist, CO2, Class D, and High Flow.

Because there are several different types of extinguishers, choosing the right one for your environment is vital. Ask us about a FREE evaluation to determine if your business is lacking in fire extinguisher coverage. We will provide an honest complete report on our findings and work with you to meet your fire protection needs.

Extinguishers ( A, B, and C) require the following inspections by a licensed fire protection company:

Annual Inspection: Ensure your cylinder is maintaining the proper pressure, full of the required amount of extinguishing agent, certify and validate that all the external parts are in good working order.

6 Year Maintenance: Remove all of the agents contained in your extinguisher. Disassemble and certify all the components - clean, lubricate and replaced any parts found to be defective. Extinguishers are then re-filled and recharged.

12 Year Maintenance: Perform all of the requirements of a 6 year inspection, certify and perform a hydrostatic test of the cylinder. Hydrostatic testing determines by expansion testing that your extinguisher can safely hold pressure.

Note: Extinguishers manufactured before 1985 must be replaced. For extinguishers manufactured in 1985 and after, there is no expiration date, as long as the cylinder passes the 12 year expansion test.

We sell, service, and maintain products from these manufacturers. If you have an extinguisher that is not from one of the manufactures below, please call us.
